Trompe Wingwall Day 31 - Castle, boat, path and mountains | Jacqueline Hill Prestige Art Collection

Today I worked a 16 hour day, from 8am to midnight. I repainted all the mountains and hills to solidify the colour, and cut the gravel path through the bushes so we can all walk down to the new boat and pontoon. The river got repainted a couple of times too.

I painted the little magical castle in the distance with its amethyst-faceted turret tops. It was a long day but the middle section is looking very nearly finished!

All that’s left to do now is the plants and flowers along the front, and then hiding little pixies and fairies all through it. And tomorrow I’ll finish painting the bottom of the pillars to make them look 3D.
