Trompe Alhambra Day 28 - More Stone & Drawing Palace Details | Jacqueline Hill Prestige Art Collection
Had a long day painting stone and drawing up all the little fine details of the palace and its reflection today. Here’s what it looked like by the end of the day. I’m happy to say I’ve finished all the stone that needs to be done up a ladder – and I’m glad because it was REALLY windy today, I thought it might blow me off the ladder!

Here’s a closeup of the stone at the left (painted Wednesday):

There was a photography helicopter making repeated passes overhead during the day – not sure if it was Google Maps or Nearmap… At one point I was up the top of the ladder looking directly up at the camera so let’s see if my face appears in one of those high-res map images one day!

I also had a visit from the local kookaburra:

I did a quick little Facebook Live video today, just for fun:

Here are the timelapse videos for this long day – the morning doing my daily stonemason chores and the afternoon and evening drafting out the tiny details on the palace and its reflections:

I’ll be back tomorrow to work a Saturday mural day. I have an appointment at the coast for another mural on Monday so I will be out all day.
