The works of Jacqueline Hill are an exploration of colour which showcase the beauty and joy she sees in nature, her surroundings and in the world. Stemming from her pursuit of mastery she is accomplished in all mediums and seeks to challenge herself with new subjects and perspectives. Her pieces have the ability to soothe with their elegance and to stimulate with their vibrancy.
Jacqueline completed her degree and achieved first class honours in Computer Science. From here, she forged a successful career, travelling the world consulting for major corporations, only to continually feel the familiar pull of a need for creative expression. This desire was reinforced when she won an award for the first piece created following her return to art.
Since this time she has become a multi-award winning artist and achieved several sell-out series for her acrylics, oils, pastels and eastern watercolours. Jacqueline continues to find her happiness surrounded by pots of brightly coloured paints and her artworks are displayed in private and corporate collections around Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the USA and UK. Her focus is now her solo exhibitions and commissions and she derives great joy from sharing her skills and passion for art through teaching.
